Background
Here, you'll find both the mission statement and a situational analysis of the subject of this marketing plan. Both artifacts frame the direction of this project, serving as useful background information to the final marketing plan.
Our mission is to support IU Indianapolis students in achieving and maintaining healthier lifestyles through accessible nutrition education, flexible fitness classes tailored to student schedules, and personalized health plans. We are dedicated to making wellness easy and achievable for every student, helping them adopt lasting, positive health changes
Social factors such as students' busy schedules and the stigma around seeking help may limit participation in wellness programs. However, leveraging technology, like mobile apps for scheduling, tracking health, and accessing resources, can improve convenience and engagement.
TimelyCare, a virtual health service for college students, offers 24/7 access to medical advice, mental health support, and wellness resources. Key strengths include personalized health plans, flexible fitness schedules, strong university partnerships, and a holistic approach. Weaknesses include limited marketing, low awareness, staffing constraints, and dependence on student participation.
Opportunities lie in increasing wellness interest, forming partnerships, integrating with campus events, and utilizing social media. Threats include competition, changes in funding, inconsistent interest, and economic factors. While TimelyCare’s 24/7 availability is a major advantage, addressing its limitations presents an opportunity for other programs to offer more personalized and accessible support.
